Senior SEO Exec
ROLE IN THE AGENCY
We’re Bottle, a digital PR agency. In a world where we spend more than a whole day every week online, it’s our goal to help brands increase their fame, as well as their findability. We do that for our clients by making PR drive traffic, boosting SEO, and connecting social content with people – every day.
As an SEO Lead, you’ll work within the Planning Team and will steer our Comms team (and their clients) on strategy and tactics for the intersection of digital PR and SEO.
You’ll work alongside our other channel experts including our Social Media Lead, and you’ll report to our Planning Director.
ABOUT YOU
We’re looking for someone who brings experience around SEO strategies.
They will be well practised at conducting ongoing keyword research, optimising meta data and website content, reviewing internal and external linking, and make recommendations of fixes around technical SEO issues.
They will love to discover new onsite content recommendations for our clients that help meet relevant, search demand queries amongst their target audiences for organic SEO success
And, they will get a buzz out of collecting data and reporting on traffic, rankings and other relevant SEO metrics.
We’re also looking for someone who can bring that SEO skillset and turn their knowledge towards supporting our Comms team in how to make irresistible PR stories (and onsite content), that get valuable editorial backlinks and help to further increase the organic, online visibility for our clients.
You will have a few years SEO experience, perhaps at another digital PR agency, at an SEO agency, or even in-house.
You will be familiar with SEO tools and resources like Google Analytics, Search Console and Tag Manager, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Majestic, Meltwater and Moz.
Whatever the tool - you know the value of DA, relevant trust flow, keywords, links, SEO optimised content. And you are just as much at home with those tools, are you are in PowerPoint and Excel.

You’re an impact maker, keen to know how work performs, and use that knowledge to make the next task even more successful
You have a collaborative and consultative mindset (for clients and for internal teams)
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
You will bring a more comprehensive understanding of the drivers of search visibility, to inform and develop the link-building and storytelling “PR for SEO” tactics. Some examples of this include:
Help to implement on-page SEO strategies on a quarterly basis for Bottle and for our clients
Support the Comms team in developing effective editorial content
Guide on optimisations, as well as performance analysis
By keeping at the forefront of industry best practice, you’ll be the agency expert in SEO effectiveness, That means keeping us all keenly aware of changes and requirements of the search algorithms and advising on the development and improvement of our own service offer.
Salary
Salary range will be dependent on skills and experience.
