Step-by-step guide to the Creative Process
Good ideas, at least consistently good creative ideas – need a process. Distinct stages and steps, where we are in different frames of mind.
Well facilitated, we find our stages work. Separating the divergent parts, when we need to be non-judgemental and wishful, fueled by stimulus that triggers the connection-making when our thoughts wander through in-and-out listening.
Then convergence, when we start bashing ideas into feasible concepts, and ultimately the selection and judgement, using tools like the itemized-response, and the emoji-scale.
Sometimes we don’t have the luxury of 10 days, like this timeline proposes, but skipping the steps leads to weaker ideas.
