COVID-eo content: how creativity carries on
By: Laura Santillana | Lead Creative
“Creativity arises out of the tension between spontaneity and limitation, the latter (like the river banks) forcing the spontaneity into the various forms which are essential to the work of art or poem.”
In these uncertain days when the majority of people are stuck at home and physically isolated from one another, putting out fresh, purposeful social content and communicating with customers through social media has never been more important. And just because our team is also working remotely doesn’t means we slow down in production. Here are a few of the ways we’ve created content in the past, and continue to do so for our clients, from near or far:
Home studio
There are many ways that products and scenes can be shot in our home studio by experimenting with different lighting, surfaces and props. This can also be combined with stock photography and Photoshop to get the exact result we’re looking to achieve.
Stock
Stock photography / videography isn’t as mundane and predictable as it used to be. Selecting the right imagery in tandem with creative editing through Photoshop or AfterEffects can lead to stunning branded visuals.
Original artwork
Our designers can also create original artwork and illustrations through Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and AfterEffects. It takes a little bit longer to produce, but the result is 100% original.
Repurposing
Many clients carry an image bank of content that can be repurposed in a number of different ways. By using Adobe tools like Photoshop and AfterEffects – we can also edit or add on to older content to make it new and fresh.
Memes and gifs
Gone are the days of memes consisting of just low-res photos, clad in Arial. Users love to see memes that blend with your branding – and we’ve got all the skills to create them.
